I just tried filling my propane tank with the quick disconnect connector and was told by the dealer that this type of connector has now been banned by the government and he could not fill my tank. I called Weber and they confirmed this. Probably a safety concern although I never had a problem. I will now need to replace my grill LP hose with the screw on type of connector (QCC1 connection).

This is a genuine replacement Webber regulator, not a knock-off.The price was the same at my local home center and hardware store.My advantage was ordering online from my home instead of driving there and dealing with the crowds.The ordering was a snap and the shipping was quick, thanks!

Even though I have had this grill for many years and use it frequently, it started to take a long time to cook something that usually was done quickly. I cleaned everything could, including the tiny holes in the manifold but it didn't help. I noticed the flames from the manifold didn't look very substantial, so I figured it must be having fuel flow problems. I ordered and installed this hose and regulator kit and my grill was back to great cooking performance immediately! A few bucks for parts instead of spending $400-$500 for a new grill!
